Saturday was not such a good day. Lucas waas 'trying' and it really made me wonder why I bother avoiding milk. First thing I took Seb and the girls out to Wincanton for their various tutoring lessons. I had to hang out there whilst Seb had his lesson, then I fed and changed Lucas before heading home. I arrived home to see that Abi had a letter from Kingston Maurwood - so exciting but it meant a long day waiting for Abi to open it.
The girls were going straight from their lessons to L house to have a bonfire night with friends. I tried not to get upset about it but L had said she was keeping things quieter this year but it turned out all the same people were there except DH and I, so what she really meant was she didn't want Seb here. There is a bit of an anti-boy thing going on in our HE community and I find it hard not to be upset, no matter how subtle the people are. *must not dwell, must not dwell*
DH collected the girls around 9 then I finally got to find out what Abi's letter said. It turns out that she has an interview with them at the end of the month, I'm so pleased for her. DH had promised ds a sleepover on Saturday night so after collecting the girls they slept in there on the floor and I got the bed to myself.
Today has been better. When Lucas woke up at 5 I got up, stripped the bed,put on washing/ tumble drying, loaded the dishwasher and hoovered and Lucas was very good.
DH got up at 7 and we spent the day sorting junk, going to the tip, shopping, fixing our bed, changing beds, and tidying. Its been a productive day. Wish DH didn't need to work tomorrow.
