Ooooh Cheeky!

Well today has been a bit of a day really.
I did manage half an hour of peace in the morning when Lucas finally fell asleep. I am not sure he is too keen on imposed feeding routine (aiming for a minimum of 2 hourly during the day)  but I am just not able to keep up the half-hourly feeding regime we were in. Of course for the next day or two I am expecting a little resistance. Actually based on the fact I have rather 'militant and determined' boys I'm expecting A LOT of resistance. DH made my day by texting to tell me rain had stopped work so he was coming home at lunch time.
The health visitor came over for the scheduled 16 week check up they do now-a-days and Lucas happily passed with flying colours. He still has a big head though, lol.

Our title refers to the post we received today. We were a bit shocked when we received a letter from our energy suppliers today saying that based on our usage they were putting up our bill. The reason we were shocked is that for the last 2 years we have received back nearly £200 per year BACK in over-payment because we dont use as much as our direct debits. So DH phoned them and told them actually, no, they weren't going to put up our payments and we are likely to move suppliers if they even tried. Don't think the lady on the phone was too happy but still. Money grabbing so-and-so's!!!
Next was a phone call to the doctor to book Lucas' first round of injections. Only 2 months late but then I never follow the recommended schedule when I take my kids for injections. Instead of 2,3,4 months I tend to go for 3,6,9 months then the other two at 12 and 15 mth ish. I am not really happy with how many injections they need to have OR how many different things they stick in each vaccine. Anyway my HV did look a little shocked when I said he hadn't been immunised yet but I dont really care.
The other other thing we did this afternoon is caved and decided to get Sky back. We have been without for over a year but with me not having a lot of time or energy to expend on the kids I am thinking it would be a good(hmm, is that the right word???) addition to the house. I am quite looking forward to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Christmas movies and of course, Nigella's Christmas cooking series. Nothing quite says Christmas like cookery shows, and  yes, I know I've seen them all before.  :-)
