Meet The Beast

Our car issue is still ongoing. Papers were served at the address where we purchased the car but were marked "Gone away". Then DH discovered that the log book he  had been given didn't have the right bit in so we are having to send off for that. And now a friend has found the guy's actual address so we need to do more court papers. Even if we win though, they wont enforce it and we cant so we will probably still lose out.

In the meantime after several weeks of being car-less we were taken pity on by a kind parent who donated to the need-a-car cause. And we now have this big, rather scary, beast-like car. It is taking some getting used to as it requires programming and personalisation. Headlights and windscreen wipers come on automatically, my interior mirror switched to night vision and my dials are dimmed all by them self. You press buttons to open and close doors. You need a degree just to understand the handbook. And the handbrake is on the right - its weird.

As you can see, Winnie is a bit of a beast of bus-like qualities. But she's growing on me. :)
